Are you ready to lead a critical function that keeps operations running smoothly? We're seeking a Medical Billing & Payroll Manager to join our Leadership Team and oversee billing, payroll, and IT support for a growing organization. This is a high-impact role where accuracy, compliance, and efficiency are key-and your expertise will make all the difference.


What You'll Do

Billing Oversight

  • Manage biweekly billing submissions and ensure accuracy.
  • Review monthly claim buckets for timeliness and errors; coordinate corrections.
  • Track and report billables, prepare spenddown invoices, and follow up on non-payments.
  • Maintain billing system integrity and resolve issues promptly.

Payroll Management

  • Oversee accurate, timely payroll for 850 employees every two weeks.
  • Collaborate with Finance on payroll processing and reporting.
  • Update pay rates for new services, annual reviews, and DHS increases.

Client Hour Management

  • Monitor client hour usage and address overuse or underuse.
  • Run monthly reports and follow up with clients as needed.

IT Support

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and troubleshoot tech issues.
  • Coordinate with outsourced IT for complex problems.
  • Set up devices and user accounts for staff.

Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping

  • Generate leadership and board reports.
  • Enter payroll breakdowns in QuickBooks and assist with annual budgeting.

What We're Looking For

  • Billing/Payroll Experience: 1+ year required; 3-5 years preferred.
    • Medicaid billing and medical claims experience a plus.
    • Familiarity with iSolved People Cloud is beneficial.
  • Leadership: 2+ years managing teams, conducting reviews, and delivering feedback.
  • Tech Savvy: 1+ year handling IT tasks (basic troubleshooting and setup).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
